Help Cecropia Strong to Give Grants for Therapeutic Riding!
In the fall of 2018, eighteen months after my stroke, my parents gifted me 15-weeks of therapeutic horsemanship at Windrush Farm. It was magicful! But I don't make enough to afford this on an ongoing basis, so I was a supporter of their efforts from afar.
After Cecropia Strong's October Gala in 2022, we had enough money to make an initial investment in grant funds to financially-challenged riders, but we need your help to extend this! If you'd like to give, HOORAY!!! But we also need to spread the word. With our grants of $600, we're lowering the price to $300 for a 15-week program. Please get the word out! Let folks with disabilities know that therapeutic riding can be managed by people with limited means!
